Great experience with beautiful views. The tour guide was very friendly, but he often went on a tangent about history that was way over the tour. Sometimes I felt like it made us miss out on opportunities of just enjoying the scenery and beauty. At one point, he talked for 15-20 minutes… to the point we were all sitting down as he continued on. We didn’t get time to visit the gift shop or anything after as a result. I’d rather enjoy a short snip about the history and then take in the beauty.

Our tour guide was Maria. Overall experience from pick up to drop off from where we stayed was very good and professional. Maria our guide explained the history of monstarat, old Barcelona city and sagrada familia and made it great experience for our family. Maria took us to local authentic and the old bakeries, authentic sweet shops in the streets of the old Barcelona city which is in gothic quarters. Sagrada familia is spectacular and no one should miss it. Definitely recommend this full day trip which covers monsterat, Panasonic views of the port, old Barcelona city and sagrada familia

We was picked up from the hotel and introduced to the group (all English speaking). We began our journey to Montserrat. The whole way Gaspar (tour guide) kept the conversation flowing, providing us with some real insights to Spanish history, the area and locations, random knowledge, and so much more. Once we arrived at Montserrat the tour began; Gaspar spent around 2 hours showing us around and telling us some really interesting information about the place and its history. Once Gaspar had done with his side of the tour, he gave us some free time to do what we want, choosing from all the options he had just shown us. We met back up afterwards and began our journey back towards the Sagrada la Familia. We parked nearby and walked a short walk until we suddenly saw Gaudis masterpiece... It was breathtaking. Gaspar told us the story of the outside, and then let us do the rest on our own as he said Gaudi wanted you to take in your own interpretation. We met up afterwards, before going back.
