Walk through the park on the wooded hill, and see some of Gaudi’s typical styles. Along with mosaic tiles, find sinuous benches, twisted stonework, and the Sala Hipóstila (Doric Temple). It would be easy enough to walk through this park and enjoy the environment. But having toured the park with a guide, it’s much more interesting to learn about the intended use and design of was supposed to be a private community. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the family for whom it was built and Gaudis role. I recommend it.

Excellent activity! We are delighted with our visit. We arrived slightly late because we did not arrive at the right entrance to the park but the staff were able to guide us quickly and very kindly. Clara, our guide was lovely, she waited for us despite our delay, told us to relax. The visit was done quietly, which reassured us a lot since we had our luggage with us. Clara took us on a tour of this splendid park in Spanish, but did not hesitate to find synonyms in English for complicated words, or even in Italian! A big thank you to Clara for her kindness, her attention and her professionalism! Our visit was most enjoyable!

An interesting tour. The guide was well informed and enthusiastic. The group was relatively small. My one criticism would be that the tour was also conducted in Spanish for just two tourists which meant long periods just waiting while the guide ran through his commentary in Spanish. Also we waited 15 minutes beyond the start of the tour for part of one family who hadn’t arrived when the tour was due to start.
