Barossa Valley: Craft Gin Making Experience with Lunch

1. Barossa Valley: Craft Gin Making Experience with Lunch

Take part in a craft gin making experience at the exclusive Barossa Gin School. Each of the work stations has a hand-made Italian copper still, ready to be the foundation upon which you will create your recipe. Working with a clean base spirit, allow yourself to be guided through the process of making a craft gin from scratch.  You'll be utilizing some of the most popular botanicals used in gin making today, as well as some not-so-well-known treasures. You’ll learn about the techniques employed to craft gin.  There will be plenty of different botanicals to play with and select from, so there’s ample room to get creative. By the time you’re finished selecting, measuring and recording your recipe, with guidance from the team if required, you’ll be ready to lift the lid on the still. While the stills heat through and work their magic, you’ll enjoy a light lunch. Once the stills release their freshly-crafted gin you can put the finishing touches to your labels and get ready to hand bottle your very own Gin Once bottled, the only thing left to do to your creations is affix the label and add a wax seal if desired. At the end of the activity you’ll take home your very own personal gin, handcrafted and hand-bottled by you.

What people are saying about Barossa Valley

This was more than I expected and could of ever imagined . The location was to die for with a tranquil lake to gaze into as time passed by between the wine tasting, grazing plate and gin tasting . Bronwyn was like a friend who had invited you to her home . Nothing was a problem . Such a natural and friendly person. Add genuine to that . Prior was the cooking demonstration with yet another beautiful sole . I do wish I could remember her name . Her food creation and very useful tips for a home cook like myself were from the heart and again nothing was a bother. I had the most enjoyable time from 11am till 2:30 with both of these delightful ladies . This experience is well thought out and I highly recommend this to anyone . I traveled from the Blue Mountains and have been waiting for years to attend . I was NOT disappointed. Being able to stand in the kitchen of the Cook and the Chief was special as well. P.S. They do postage for any item/s as well.

We enjoyed learning some history of the Barossa area, wine making and how our palate works. The food was exceptional so was the Gin making experience and we got to take our special blend of Gin home as a memento, woohoo!

Fabulous experience and great value. Delicious treats and wine and gin tasting in a beautiful setting. Relaxed fun day. Allow time to enjoy this experience.
