I think the tour guide was very enthusiastic to show the beautiful sites in the old city. She was very knowledgeable about the tidbit stories that made the tour interesting. Loved the visit to the Marktplatz to see the fresh produce and flowers for sale. The visit to the Lookout point near the Cathedral was also scenic as it overlooked the bridge and river. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves very much and would recommend this tour to other visitors. A short but meaningful look at the Old Basel appreciating the history, art, architecture and culture.

It's a privately guided tour which took me around the highlights of Basel, including the Münster, the Old Town, and some quirky parts such as The Three Kings hotel, the Rathaus City Hall, and the "Walk of Fame" and Christmas House along Spalenberg. As I chose to go on an evening tour, many of these sights were not open to visit, but it makes for a good orientation of what to add to your daytime itinerary for Basel.
