Not only was this a great experience to travel all the way up a fjiord, but this fjiord had a unique twist. Near the end of the trip up the fjiord there was a 400 meter stretch that was extremely narrow and shallow that was very different from the rest of the fjiord. We learned the very interesting history of that portion which was transformed over the past couple of hundred years.

When we arrived at the ship dock, we had our bar code and pass ready. But they did not have us on their list. At first they refused to let us on. We spent 10 minutes talking and finally we could board. This bad communication was disturbing and started the trip in a poor way. The sites were beautiful and interesting. Half way through the ship lost one engine, it our return was delayed 50 minutes.

The audio information about the fjord and its waterfalls is well defined. The ship is clean and well maintained. Safe sailing along the way. Great job by the ship’s crews.
