From Barcelona: Costa Brava Day Tour with Lunch

1. From Barcelona: Costa Brava Day Tour with Lunch

Escape the hustle and bustle of Barcelona on a full-day tour of Costa Brava. Travel north up the coastal highway to Blanes, the gateway to one of Europe’s most beautiful coastlines. Savor a local lunch and visit the charming town of Tossa de Mar.  Depart Barcelona in the morning aboard an air-conditioned bus. Relax and take in the scenery on the drive to one of the few remaining coves that is still free from the crowds and big commercial developments. Enjoy free time to lounge on the beach or go for a swim in crystal-clear waters. Have the option to stay on the beach for the next two hours, or visit the famous botanical gardens. Sit down to a delicious Spanish lunch in a family-owned restaurant. Feast on a mouth-watering selection of traditional dishes and a glass of Sangria, followed by your choice of main courses. Continue along the coast to Tossa de Mar, the last fortified town on Costa Brava. Walk along cobblestone streets to the lighthouse for a stunning view of the coastline. Wander back down through the old town and discover a maze of narrow streets lined with traditional whitewashed houses. Soak up the atmosphere with free time to purchase souvenirs, take a dip at the beach which lies beneath this historic town, or rent a kayak for a quick paddle under the cliffs. After a couple of hours exploring Tossa de Mar return to Barcelona by bus.

From Girona: Medieval Costa Brava Day Trip

3. From Girona: Medieval Costa Brava Day Trip

After getting picked up from your hotel in Girona, head to Peratallada, a beautiful, well-preserved medieval town. Enjoy some time to walk around before sampling some traditional snacks to build up your energy before heading to the village of Pals for a guided tour. Next, head towards Begur, where you can wander around and discover the area's colonial past. Then, descend into Calella, a beautiful and famous fishing village. Here, you'll have lunch and enjoy some time to take a walk along the Camí de Ronda, the old path used by locals and the police to combat smuggling, towards the neighboring town of Llafranc, or towards Cala del Golfet, an oh-so-Mediterranean beach. What people are saying about Blanes

We loved the tour, they take you to most beautiful places and beaches in Costa Bravo. The lunch was delicious! Enough time to see beautiful botanical gardens near the coast line and have time at the beach on first stop. Second stop you can either check out the old town or stay on the beach, both options are great! Take water shoes as beaches are rocky a bit.

Absolutely stunning! Me and my partner picked a perfect day to escape the city life and out on the country costal side of Costa Brava. The tour guide was amazing! Really looked after us and is always happy! Lunch is massive, was definitely a feast of their famous spanish food Paella.

We spent a very nice day. The food was very good and fresh. Unfortunately, the time was too short at the second stop, so we had to decide whether we should swim or look at the castle. We would have liked to have done both.

We loved my daughters and I the day on the Costa Brava! The landscapes are magnificent and the beaches, although crowded, rejuvenating. Our guide, Judith, and our driver, Luis, were very attentive!

It was beautiful, getting out of the city to the beach is a must, our guide was awesome, the lunch was amazing!!
