Take off from the Dubai Police Academy helipad and then ascend towards the Emirates Mall, the Jumeirah Lakes, and Emirates Hills. Turn towards the Marina and see the Ain Dubai, the largest Ferris wheel in the world. Head inland to the famous 7-star Burj Al Arab Hotel. Fly over the Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis Hotel, and The World Islands Arhipelagago. As you reach the Jumeirah shoreline, admire the stunning Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Fly onwards to Port Rashid and finally Dubai Creek, where you will see the most historic buildings of the city situated next to modern developments.

The helicopter ride was great but had an odd experience with the photographers afterwards who rushed us away from the helicopter and back inside. We were then encouraged to buy photos of our experience but they were the worst photos we’d ever seen - very blurry - and we weren’t asked to stand and pose in front of the helicopter which was really disappointing

30-minute scenic flight over the "new" Dubai - no flight over the old town - some buildings have been "overflown" several times - you can do it and it was definitely very impressive - but the price isn't exactly cheap. Next time I'm in Dubai I won't do it again
