Vienna: Ghosts and Legends 2-Hour Walking Tour by Night

1. Vienna: Ghosts and Legends 2-Hour Walking Tour by Night

Enjoy a tour of Vienna by night, when the tourist crowds have died down, and discover mysterious stories hidden behind every corner of the city. Walk in the footsteps of ancient legends and modern myths, and see the city from a different perspective. Discover the background of various myths, but consider this: behind every story is a nugget of truth. You may even find some answers to questions that come up along the way. Find out whether witches or even vampires wreaked havoc in the city, learn about the role Vienna played in the beginning of the “Dracula” novel, and discover which buildings in the city are the most haunted. The walking tour takes you along the walls of the Hofburg Palace past the Augustinian Church. You’ll then visit the Neuer Markt, where you’ll hear numerous scary and strange stories. You’ll then continue on through the Blutgasse district, one of the oldest parts of the city center. At the end of the tour you’ll see the legendary St. Stephen's Cathedral.

Great tour, extremely interesting stories from old Vienna and the Austrian Empire. But please dress warmly, in the long run it will be cool when standing around, at least in the cold season at the witching hour! Absolutely recommendable.

Very interesting guided tour through Vienna in the evening. In two entertaining hours you can learn more about ghost and vampire stories as well as witches in Vienna. We found it very entertaining.

Was worth it! The guide designed the tour with lots of interesting legends and myths and rounded it off with facts. We had a lot of fun!

Very informative, questions are dealt with in detail, even if they are not part of the actual tour.
