Love London 3-Hour Bike Tour

3. Love London 3-Hour Bike Tour

Enjoy a 3-hour afternoon bike ride around central London to see many of the city’s most historic sites. Meet your guide on the south bank of the River Thames, close to the Southbank arts complex, and select your bike. Then, head into the back streets of Waterloo and for the first 'Theatre' stop, Kevin Spacey's Old Vic. Banksy's graffiti tunnel installation follows the street food markets of Lower Marsh, and all of a sudden, it's back onto the river at the majestic Lambeth Palace, the residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury (the Church of England's equivalent of the Pope!). Cycle along the River Thames to Lambeth Palace, one of London's oldest buildings, and home of the head of The Church of England. Now, cross to the north side of the river to explore the lanes of traditional red brick houses, cycling though a back gate into Westminster Abbey School courtyard, the first school in England. Just outside the school, you will be standing on the place where so many kings and queens have had their coronation, and been buried in the crypt of Westminster Abbey. Cycle past Horse Guard’s Parade - site of the 2012 Olympic Beach Volleyball Competition - St. James's Park, Clarence House, and Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s official London residence. Then, bike up Constitution Hill into the open spaces of Hyde Park. From Hyde Park, travel through the exclusive Mayfair district, past the US Embassy, New Bond Street, Carnaby Street, and into Soho, the party center of London. Pedal to Covent Garden, home of the Royal Opera House, street theater, and much more. The trip is nearly over, as you wind your way back to the river and cross Waterloo Bridge, where you will get one of the best views of London on a curve of the river.

London: Queen Elizabeth II Private Walking Tour

4. London: Queen Elizabeth II Private Walking Tour

This walking tour will visit many places relating to the Queen. From where she was born to her funeral and much more like Whitehall, Buckingham, and Saint James's. We will see her favourite shops, where she would eat out and various homes and palaces that she lived in through her long life as well as learning about different events in the life of the Queen. See neighbourhoods and districts in London that you'd never normally visit before visiting ceremonial places famous for parades and royal spectacles as well as following in the footsteps of her solemnly observed but majestic funeral. We loved the Queen, I even sang for her when I was a boy and we want to show you our love and appreciation of our late Queen when you come on this very special tour.

It was a super fun bike ride. Unfortunately we did this on our last day, so I recommend doing this on one of the first days! Our guide jordi has told and shown so much that we have to go back to London again.

Highly recommended for Bond fans. Our tour lasted 3.5 hours. The bus stops at every location to take photos and you can get off for 10 minutes. After a 2 hour tour, there will be a 20 minute coffee break.

Great insight into the movies and trivia about the behind the scenes events that you wouldn’t of gathered from just watching the James Bond Movies.

Our tour guide was Ian. He's funny and knows a lot. All in English but we understood most of it. Clear recommendation!

Very time riding on for london! Birgit was very good guide.
