THE ISLAND OF S.ANDREW, THE CASTLE AND THE SEA TURTLES During this kayak and canoe excursion, we let you to discover the most evocative stretch of the middle port of Brindisi, where the Alfonsino Castle built with carparo ashlars dominates the landscape like a large natural cliff overlooking the sea. Kayaking along the island of Sant’ Andrea will take you back in time, a past in which the fortresses on the island of constituted for centuries the bulwark of the West in the face of Ottoman expansionism. The emerald green water, the jackdaws that fly over the towers give life to the imposing construction that stands out against the sky in the middle of the medium port. You will be involved in our biosurveillance and research activity of the large sea turtles (of the Caretta caretta species) that permanently populate the nutritious and full of life waters of the port of Brindisi After a short break with a moment of explanation on the geological nature of the area, the excursion will proceed with the crossing of the stone bridge of the Bocche di Puglia passage where you can admire the open sea and take a refreshing swim. At the end of this stop, you will return to the embarkation point. Horseback riding through the Mediterranean vegetation and coastal dunes in the regional Park of Dune Costiere. Along a short stretch of coast, close to the sea, and in the middle of olive oil trees and typical Apulian dry-stone walls. After a short theoretical and practical lessons, horseback riding on the beach: galloping free on the endless sandy expanse, crossing along paths and breathtaking landscapes through the Mediterranean vegetation and coastal dunes.

We will explore each day one of these very beautiful cities: Bari, Monopoli, Alberobelo, Polignano A Mare, Lecce, Brindisi, Grotte Castellana, Zoo safari in Fasano, Ostuni. Accommodation included in a beautiful Villa by the sea with private swimming pool, outdoor patio and barbeque. We will explore the region with a brand new Ford Transit 9 passenger minivan. Puglia is a region with a rich history, with ancient Greek and Roman ruins scattered throughout the region. It is known for its delicious cuisine, with dishes such as orecchiette pasta and pane pugliese (a type of bread) being popular both in Italy and abroad. The region is also home to several beautiful beaches, as well as charming hilltop towns and villages, making it a popular destination for tourists. Overall, Bari and Puglia are rich in culture, history, and natural beauty, making them a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Italy. Day 1 Arrive in Bari. Meet and greet at the airport. Check into your private villa in Capitolo and rest, have a glass of wine, beer, snack etc. Dinner at Gran Pavese seafood restaurant close to your villa. Day 2 Visit Castellano Cave located in the city of Castellana Grotte Explore the city of Monopoli on a walking tour. We are a Diving Nadd (educational). Discover the rich marine biodiversity of the Brindisi area. The experience will take place in two phases: 1) 2 hours: the first of theory on the beach, in which the instructor gets you familiar with the equipment, explaining the basics; 2) 1 hour: the second part in diving. After having adequately prepared, we enter the waters off Punta Penne, located on the Adriatic coast of Puglia, near the city of Brindisi. Right from the start, one realizes the immense beauty of the underwater world. The transparent waters allow you to see the sandy bottom and underwater rock formations clearly. The first stages of the dive are characterized by shallow waters, ideal for less experienced divers or for a warm-up phase. As you move away from the coast, the seabed begins to gradually descend, revealing wonderful slopes covered with posidonia meadows and corals, essential habitats for numerous marine species. Among the rocks and cavities, it is possible to meet fish of all shapes and colours: white bream, bream, sea bass, grouper, on some days it is not uncommon to meet dolphins and giant sea turtles. Marine life is diverse and fascinating. As you move through the underwater labyrinth, you will come across bizarrely shaped sea sponges, starfish, octopuses and molluscs hiding in the crevices of the rocks. Curious moray eels often reveal themselves, snooping from behind the rocks. With the passing of the hours and the consumption of the air cylinders, the extraordinary underwater experience ends. Emerging from the surface, one finds oneself with a heart filled with wonder and gratitude for having been able to admire the hidden beauty of the deep sea.
