A Good Tour of Brooklyn

Our guide, John, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a great job sharing history and interesting facts of the shops we visited. The weather couldn’t have been better! The tour itself was slow. It could have been done in 2 hrs easily. Would have liked to have known where were we’re going and what we were doing. When I think of Brooklyn I think of pizza so was surprised we didn’t eat any pizza.

I was disappointed.

We liked our tour guide but was disappointed in the food choices for $69.00 per person. A slice of pizza should be part of the tour and the cheese sample at stinkys was not much of a sample, more like crumbs. I can only imagine stinkys has a delicious variety of cheeses. The cookies from girl one were ok, we’ve had better. While we were in Girl One a customer gave a high review of their cupcakes and cakes. Wish we had a sample of the cupcakes. Enjoyed the bread, biscotti, coffee and farmcy atmosphere. I would not recommend this tour.

This tour was amazing, educational and delicious!

Our guide Josh was great. The tour group was small. We visited nine establishments owned and operated by locals. The food was delicious. Josh explained the history behind the establishments and the various neighborhoods in Brooklyn that we walked through. Even had a celebrity sighting of Michael Shannon in Carroll gardens. I would highly recommend.
