1. Broome: 45-Minute Pre-Sunset Cable Beach Camel Ride

On this tour you can admire the views of the ocean as you enjoy a 45-minute camel ride along Cable Beach in Broome. At the starting point, you can check-in with the friendly staff and leave your belongings in the locked vehicle. You will then be introduced to the gorgeous camels, where the staff will allow you to give them a pat and will even take a photo for you on your camera. Once everyone has arrived, you will join together with the group for the safety induction with Alison Bird, Broome's most experienced and longest-serving camel operator. Listen as she tells you about her experience with camels through the West Australian outback, and watch as she carefully shows you how to mount and dismount your camel. You will then have a camel chosen specifically for you to ride. You will be personally assisted on top of your camel by the friendly and well-trained staff. When everyone is on board, it is time for the camel train to make its way down close to the water. Walk along the beach atop your camel and enjoy the fantastic views of the Indian Ocean. The staff will tell you the story of your camel, and you can take the opportunity to ask questions about your personal camel, about camels in general, or about Broome. You can also hand over your camera to the staff for them to take some photographs for you as you enjoy your walk along the beach. Towards the end of the ride, you will be reminded how to safely dismount from your camel. After the ride is over and you are back on the ground, you can say goodbye to your camel and head over to the check-in area to view and/or purchase the professional photos taken during your tour as well as the quality merchandise on offer.
