Full description
Enjoy reserved entrance to Brunelleschi's Dome, part of Florence's Cathedral, with this ticket. Meet the local assistant at the meeting point, present your voucher, and receive your tickets to begin your experience. First, enter the Dome and climb 463 steps to reach the top. Please note that the way is narrow, there is no elevator, and the climb is not recommended for people suffering from heart problems, vertigo, or claustrophobia. Marvel at the egg-shaped architecture of the Dome, which was the largest such structure in the world in its time. On your visit to the Dome’s interior, you’ll have the opportunity to see the many frescoes and stained-glass windows. Admire Zuccari and Giorgio Vasari's frescoes of the Last Judgment, and enjoy a beautiful panorama over Florence and its surroundings from the summit.

Seamless process. Arrived at the dome entrance 10 minutes before scheduled entry time and received tickets from tour agent after showing her our confirmation info. Entry into dome/security was easy. There are spots to rest during the climb to the top of the dome, but the climb itself is up narrow circular stairs and low ceilings. Viewing the inside fresco from the floor of the church and then up close during the climb was amazing. Viewing the city from the top of the climb was spectacular.

It must be said immediately: with this reservation you automatically have the so-called "Brunelleschi pass" in hand, which is always sold-out! It lasts 3 days and you can visit: the crypt of the Cathedral, the Giotto tower, the Museo dell'Opera del Duomo, the Baptistery and obviously the Dome. Unfortunately it is not marked on Get Your Guide and therefore induces to pay separately the entrance to the crypt, the Baptistery and the Museum (Ghiberti pass)! Small but very valid suggestion: by making the only ticket for the crypt / baptistery / museum called "Ghiberti pass" (15 € / pax - next to the Cathedral there is a very efficient ticket office with very kind staff, generous with information) you automatically have immediate lateral access to the Cathedral, thus avoiding the endless queue for free access to the Cathedral. To go down to the crypt you must necessarily enter the church and once you are inside, you turn it around! NB: the steps in the Dome and in the

You absolutely need to get this ticket if you want to see Florence from the top! The views, the experience, the climb... beyond worth it. That said, it was a little behind schedule (we didn't start until 11 for a 10:15 ticket) and there was definitely some confusion as to when and where we were supposed to line up, but we found clarity amongst the other visitors. Would definitely recommend and would also encourage you to have some flexibility in your schedule after, just in case!
