It was a fun and creative way to experience Brussels. We enjoyed the hands on activity, but the instructor spent too much time talking. Other than that, he was friendly and informative. We made chocolates in molds and on wax paper and with nuts, we watched ganache being made, and drank hot chocolate. We were given a beautiful little box to take our chocolates home in. I suggest little caramel balls are added in the future.

Interesting class. We learned to Temper with a candy thermometer using chocolate that was already tempered as the seed crystals. We watched ganache being made, made pralines from scratch with the tempered chocolate. They could use more materials. Only 1 thermometer for 9 people. Paper towels were scarce, one pair of blunt Scissors that were totally ineffective at cutting the piping bags. Just having wet wipes for hands would have helped. It’s out of the way so don’t be surprised when you arrive in a random location. We had fun. Learned. Could be improved with more supplies.

a very enjoyable chocolate making experience. the activity was very hands on with instructions step by step. the instructor was very professional, patient, knowledgeable with a sense of humour. She guided us through the whole process step by step and we did not need to take notes as it was an interactive demonstration with lots of guidance. We made the set designs and then had time to be creative and make our own designs with the remaining chocolate. We all received a hot chocolate drink and strawberries that we could dip in the chocolate. Very delicious. Highly recommend this chocolate making class. So glad I selected this activity.
