Experience the beauty and history of the Danube Bend on a full-day excursion that takes you along the Blue Danube from Budapest. Visit Hungary’s largest basilica in Esztergom, the center of the country’s Catholic church. Admire the views of the Danube Valley from the former royal residence at the top of Visegrád Hill. On the way back you’ll stop at the Baroque settlement of Szentendre, and take a walk along the narrow cobblestone streets. You’ll have time to browse the many shops offering handicrafts and souvenirs. The route and duration of the tour are flexible and can accommodate your interests. Note that entrance fees and lunch are not included in the tour price. Boats operate from 1 May through 30 September, except on Mondays. During the summer it’s also possible to return to Budapest by boat.
