Full description
Join this amazing journey through the best sights of Buenos Aires. You will start your tour walking through San Martin Plaza at the end of Florida street where you're going take the subway to the Obelisk, the symbol of Buenos Aires. Be part of the metropolis, going through the real experience of an Argentinian citizen's daily life and walk down the lively 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest avenue in the world. Historical buildings, monuments, and streets will show the modifications that the city has undergone since its foundation. At Plaza de Mayo, the city main square and the political heartland of Argentina, see Piramide de Mayo and visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and observe the Cabildo, the Colonial Town Hall and the Casa Rosada, the Pink Presidential Headquarters Office. Then, take Defensa street down to the heart of the San Telmo neighborhood. San Telmo is one of BA’s oldest neighborhoods and boasts a vibrant tango and arts scene. Its antique markets, candle street lighting (known as ‘faroles’), cobblestones, old buildings with original facades and décor, all add to the uniquely bohemian atmosphere. Then take the bus to La Boca neighborhood, known for Boca Juniors' stadium and the Caminito colorful street. Get enchanted by tango dancing and singing and learn how tango, football, and different immigration influences have made Buenos Aires one of the most irresistible cities in the world. Visit El Retiro and see buildings such as Edificio Kavanagh. Now you will enjoy the views of modern Puerto Madero skyscrapers and its Woman Bridge from the bus that takes you to elegant Recoleta area, known for the impressive Recoleta Cemetery. You will find beautiful architecture, lots of museums, chic cafes and restaurants, exclusive avenues and shopping malls.  The tour will end at the Recoleta Cemetery where you will have the chance to visit Evita Peron's resting place.

A wonderful way to get an overview of the city. In addition to walking, we used the bus and the subway to cover a lot of ground. Carlos was fantastic with fabulous tales of the city as well as basic knowledge of the city and Argentine history. I cannot say enough good about the experience!

This is an excellent tour to take early on your visit to a Buenos Aires as it introduces tou to the bus and subway systems and you learn how to use those. Our guide was Carlos and there were only 6 people in our group - 4 English speaking and 2 Spanish speaking. This worked well because it gave you time to take photos while he was providing information in the language that you didn't understand. It was a great overview of the city and I was especially happy to get to La Boca as it was complicated to get there from where I was staying while in the city. Lunch is not included so be sure to have breakfast as the tour lasts from 10:00 to 15:00. Very good tour overall.

Had a wonderful tour with Rossa. What made it more special was that we did the tour on foot and we got to use public transport. We really felt less like tourists and more like residents. The architecture of the city is amazing. Rossa also helped us with other city tips and we tried the mate drink. Highly recommended!
