Full description

Leave the seaside sights of Cagliari behind and explore a world thousands of years away as you visit archaeological sites and uncover Sardinia's fascinating past. After boarding your spacious and comfortable transportation, you will proceed to make your way north into Sardinia's interior. Roll through pastoral landscapes and admire the soft green hills of Trexenta. Listen as your guide as they explain the nuraghe, an ancient style of building made of concentric rock circles. Learn about Nuraghe Arrubiu's construction, which dates back to the 15th century BC, and get up-close looks of the ornate stonework that went into each of it's 5 sections. Head back to your waiting shuttle and begin the scenic ride back to Cagliari.

Traveler requirements

System definitely 5 stars, no mass tourism and enough time to visit, great explanations by our tour guide, vehicle without climate, very uncomfortable and very dirty, stop at the winemaker as described did not take place and the hike at the river bend also did not take place, therefore just average
