Head to the Port Douglas Wildlife Habitat to hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies and observe cassowaries, crocodiles, and Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroos. Enjoy a wildlife presentation and lunch amongst the lorikeets. At Mossman Gorge National Park, experience a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony. Explore the trails on your own or upgrade to a Dreamtime Walk with an Indigenous guide to learn about local plants and indigenous traditions. There were several points of interest along the way to our destination, and each time we got off the bus, they would explain it to us and walk with us. Our guide and driver, Jeff, was very knowledgeable about plants and animals, and we were able to hear many interesting stories. I was lucky to see Ulysses in Mossman Gorge. It was shorter than other tours, but since we had children, it was just right for us to come back in the evening. The tour exceeded my expectations. it's recommended.
