Stop in Carmona, built on a ridge overlooking the central plain of Andalusia and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It was a really lovely and well-organized tour of both Cordoba and Carmona. It didn't feel rushed so we were able to be immersed in the Andalucian culture. Our tour guide, Ms. Reyes, was amazing and awesome. She definitely made the trip a lot better by adding a lot of fun. She didn't make the tour boring so all ages or everyone highly enjoyed the tour. If you're in Seville for a few days, I recommend that you book a tour of Cordoba and Carmona. You'll regret it if you don't book it. :)
2. Jewish Quarter: Guided Tour with Skip-the-Line Tickets
Enjoy an amazing journey through one of Europe's largest old quarters and become acquainted with some of Córdoba's historic sites and architecture on this guided tour through the city's Jewish quarter. Start with a stroll along the Calle Judíos (Jewish street) and be enchanted by the Synagogue of Córdoba, a truly unique building for all of Andalucía. Then, pass along the Monument to Maimónides and learn about the life and legend of one of Córdoba's most important historical figures. Pay a visit to Córdoba's local Zoco (Arabian Market), the Moorish Chapel of San Bartolomé, and the Castle of the Christian Monarchs. The tour ends along the Guadalquivir river, home to more of the city's impressive monuments and architecture, and enjoy views of the Roman Bridge over the water, the archway locals affectionately named "Arc of Triumph", and the grand Tower of Calahorra.
The tour was a great tour. The guide was very knowledgeable about the different sights we visited and provided an excellent explanation of everything. Also was able to answer questions all the time. I definitely recommend doing this tour.
3. Córdoba: Tapas Guided Tour
Discover the history of the city and the most emblematic places of the historical centre with gastronomy; this is the best way to understand the local culture. Taste three tapas based on the different historical times of the city. A 2-hour guided tour to not only sample the tapas but to walk around the city at night too. The tour starts in Plaza del Potro. The first tapa will be the 'mazamorra', a delicious soup of bread and oil that comes from Roman times. The tour continues around the Roman Bridge, whose history will be told by your guide. The second tapa is 'berenjenas califales', aubergine with honey. With this food, you will be taken back to the Muslim time of Córdoba, this vegetable was introduced in the peninsula by the Muslims. The third tapa will then be 'rabo de toro', oxtail. Here you will learn about the Christian conquest and this stage of the city. You will finish the tou...
