We loved our trip to Chetamul. We were picked up right on time from our hotel by the driver. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. The pyramided were incredibly impressive and it wasn’t so busy so we enjoyed it in peace and quiet. Nothing was rushed and we were allowed to roam around as long as we wanted. Can very much recommend and absolutely worth it.

Calakmul is a breathless place. It is absolutely amazing to be climb the temples in the middle of the jungle. Take your time to be on the top and enjoy the view! The guide will not rush you ;) Be aware that it’s a long trip and that the vehicle is not comfortable at all, “we were flying” but Calakmul is gorgeous and I am very happy to have been there ;)

Super cool, Roberto was a great guide, the tour was enjoyable. Calakmul is a fairly touristic site and is not dangerous, just like the road to get there. Only small downside for us, the driver drove a little fast for our taste. Otherwise, we were happy with our day and we recommend!

The long drive there and back was rewarded by the impressive temples in the middle of the jungle. Highly recommended, as there are hardly any tourists here and our tour guide was able to enlighten us with many details about the history of the Mayas.

It was very impressive to be able to climb the ruins. An experience not found at other Mayan sites. It's worth the long walk, so I recommend this tour to anyone interested in Mayan history.
