Begin this day trip with a visit to Calella de Palafrugell, where it seems that time stands still. Move on to the beach of Port Bo where you'll see the boats on their daily fishing trip. Along the coast, admire the low and whitewashed cottages that have been renovated but retain all the charm of yesteryear. The coastline in this area has been saved from the building frenzy has affected our coast lately. Some returned home with the memory of those foreign lands and its sweet and sad music, the Havaneres. From Barcelona: Hike, Snorkel & Cliff Jump in La Costa Brava

4. From Barcelona: Hike, Snorkel & Cliff Jump in La Costa Brava

Join us on the most beautiful coastal trails on La Costa Brava and create memories you cannot forget. We will walk along the historic and ancient path, La Camino Ronda. This experience is a mixture of exploration, adventure, history and culture. The excursion includes a moderate 5km coastal hike through enchanting coves, dramatic seaside cliffs, pine forests and one of Catalunya's most affluent neighborhoods. Throughout, we will stop for breaks to cool off and snorkel in the Mediterranean sea, ending it all with a meal of tasty tapas and refreshing drinks at one of the local restaurants. Heading north to Costa Brava by private air-conditioned van, we will arrive in the heart of La Costa Brava, surrounded by protected beautiful pine-forested sea cliffs. Parts of the 'Camí Ronda' go through narrow paths adapted for trekkers and walkers, which ascends and descends several times. On some occasions we also walk through sea promenades and beaches, natural and manmade stairs and flat paved paths. On our side we will be having stunning views of the Costa Brava Mediterranean sea, with its unique turquoise clear waters. We will go through pine forests and a protected coastal area which includes the marine reserve, perfect for refreshing ourselves with a snorkeling, swimming and of course a couple of safe, not too high cliff jumps (ask more about these if you need) This trail is easy and fun for beginners, however, you still need to be able to walk up rugged sloped paths. Upon reaching our final stop, we'll sit down together in a local restaurant for a menu del dia. We have several routes in La Costa Brava, especially designed so that you can make the most of the charms of the Costa Brava but trying to adapt to most levels. Thus to say, it's not a fullon hiking day. This is also not a cliff diving or snorkeling tour per say, they are just 2 refreshing and adventurous small parts of this tour.

My wife and I are visiting Barcelona for the first time. We live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It was a fabulous trip arranged by In Out Barcelona Tours. We had private tour with Manu. Besides exploring and getting to know so many wonderful spots in Girona and Costa Brava, Manu as our guide made our full day very informative, engaging and of course fun! He is very friendly, witty and super helpful. In Out Barcelona Tour was very helpful as well to keep a good communication with me to be able to prepare for the trip. We highly recommend to have the tour! Lastly Manu has very good photo taking skills for sure. Many thanks once again.

The entire trip was very well organised, we were given ample time to see the beauty of medieval Girona. The history behind every architecture was neatly explained and rich information was provided. The guide was very friendly and provided a cordial environment throughout the journey. The companions (co-tourists) were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip.

The day tour was truly amazing and we had a very enjoyable time! Our first stop Girona is really a very charming city where games of thrones were filmed and the beach we went to was absolutely stunning!! Omid our guide was also very knowledgeable and he has many fun facts and stories to share with us. He was also very helpful in helping us take photos. Highly recommended!

Matt was an awesome guide …. Upbeat and knowledgeable ….. love the small towns We were a little slow going but he was very patient The tour needs to make people aware that there are alot of steps and much walking …. Not for older people who have trouble walking or doing steps. Glad we went saw another side of Spain thanks to Matt
