Mallorca: Serra de Tramuntana Hidden Marvels Tour

3. Mallorca: Serra de Tramuntana Hidden Marvels Tour

Travel through the history, culture, and cuisine of Mallorca on this tour, accompanied by a local guide. After getting picked up from your hotel, begin your journey along the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your first stop will be the Hermitage of Valldemossa, a fascinating chapel where you can admire panoramic views of the area. Enjoy a short 10-minute walk to reach the chapel and be rewarded for your efforts with a sample of freshly-baked ensaimada, a traditional Mallorcan desert. Then, leave Valldemossa behind and head to the Miramar Monastery, a monastery which was converted into a summer house for Archduke Luis Salvador and his illustrious guests. First, visit the old mill, before continuing to the Archduke's living residence. Here, admire extravagant interiors and discover legends of the impressive Byzantine Gardens as you admire the views of the sea. Finish your tour of the monastery with a sample of Quelitas crackers with cheese, a daily delicacy for most Mallorcans. Finally, head to the Sóller Olive Oil Mill, located in a traditional Mallorcan house. Enjoy a private tour of the premises from one of the owners, learn about the family business and the olive oil production process, as well as orange harvesting. End the day with a traditional Mallorcan lunch of "pa amb oli", including local rustic bread, tomatoes, olives, cheese, ham, and olive oil. For dessert, enjoy a Gató, a typical almond cake from the island. Sip on wine, water, and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice as you savor your lunch before heading back to your hotel.

It was a wonderful trip, Andres is a very relaxed and good host. The boat was beautiful and we sailed wonderfully, drank a nice cold beer and swam. Definitely recommend doing this! You have the boat private for your own group, which is better than all those massive boats with crowded people. If I really have to look for a point, the food could have been a bit more (although we were all guests, which may also be the cause). But anyway book that trade!

Super captain, very friendly and told a lot about the island in English and Spanish. Since it was too cold because of the weather, we couldn't snorkel. But we were still on the surfboard and explored the small caves, ate different Spanish dishes together. Did he cook really well! In the evening it got windy and cold, so he offered us blankets. The journey took about 4 1/2 hours and he took a lot of time for us. I can only recommend!

Really enjoyable day trip. Well organised, and interesting. Alcudia is a lovely town with good shops and places to eat. The trip took in some beautiful scenery, all done in the capable hands of an experienced driver. Would definitely recommend this trip to other travellers.

The pick up time was exact as mentioned, at our hotel. Birgit was our amazing tourguide for the day. We got to some amazing places we would never been at without this tour. Value for money is great. Thank you for this wonderfull day Birgit.

Had a really lovely day on this trip, worth the money, there was drinks, tapas, and paddle boarding, we were able to swim to explore the caves when we were anchored, 10/10 experience would definitely recommend
