Cancun: Aquaworld Scuba Diving School

10. Cancun: Aquaworld Scuba Diving School

The best way to explore the underwater world of Cancun is, no doubt, by scuba diving. Learn to dive for the first time with a professional diver and discover the wonderful sea life of the Mexican Caribbean. Choose between visiting the colorful Manchones Reef or the mysterious Underwater Museum of Art, also known as MUSA. Both diving locations are home to hundreds of tropical fish, corals, starfish, turtles, and rays. Manchones is a shallow reef located close to Isla Mujeres (Spanish for Island of Women). It’s very common to see turtles here as well as lots of other colorful reef fish and sea life. The Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA) consists of two main locations. The deeper section is great for diving while the shallower part is great for non-divers and snorkelers. During your MUSA dive, see over 450 life-sized statues which are now covered with algae and the coral reef. This man-made reef attracts all kinds of underwater life: the crevices of the sculptures provide great hiding places for fish to breed and inhabit.

Incredible experience! Everything is very well explained by Marin, who takes the time to explain everything clearly, and the test time in the pool is really great for beginners, allowing you to reassure yourself. The experience is crazy, magnificent, really an activity to do! Possibility of having unforgettable videos and photos. Thank you very much to Marin and thank you Carolina!

So much fun! I was SO glad that we didn’t do the submarine because it opened up a lot of time to go with Mateo to see the museum. When the submarine people joined, it held up the movement because some couldn’t swim well. But it was so great!! So friendly and perfect activity’s

We enjoyed the snorkeling trip very much. It short but plenty of time to see the underwater museum and lots of fish. Very efficient and the crew were very nice. It included water, soda, beer and tequila. I would highly recommend the tour.

It was a great experience with the kids. The staffs were very friendly. They helped us to explore the main things then we swim ourselves for 2 hours and cathed the boat accordingly. Overall very good experience and kids enjoyed a lot.

Great trip, over 1 hour 45 mins of diving in the sea plus a lesson in the swimming pool before. Great value and a great trip
