Your guide will collect you from your hotel in the morning before you are transported to Camps Bay, the start of this route. After the bike setup and route briefing, begin the cycle. Start with a gradual ascent to Suikerbossie with great views of False Bay the whole way. At the top of Suikerbossie, you will head down into Hout Bay. This is the suburb where Chapman's Peak drive starts. This must-do road takes a gradual ascent to the top and this is where you will have a brief stop to admire the views. Then, take a fast and exciting descent into Noordhoek which will reveal great views of Long Beach close to the end. In Noordhoek, head over Black Hill and into Simonstown. Here, visit the penguin colony of Boulders Beach. Then take a gradual ascent upwards.  When you reach the top, you will pass the entrance of Cape Point and take a short cycle to Cape Point Ostrich Farm where you will even have the opportunity to feed the ostriches. From here, you will have an easy cycle through some breathtaking landscape to the sleepy town of Scarborough where some welcome coffee and a pastry awaits you at The Hub. Then, jump back on the bikes to cycle through Misty Cliffs, up Slangkop pass and in into the surfing community of Kommetjie. From Kommetjie, cycle back to Noordhoek and up Ou Kaapse Weg. This is a bit more of a steady ascent but the views over Cape Town and its suburbs are worth the effort. A steep descent takes you into Steenberg and through the suburbs of Constantia. Go up Southern Cross Drive to the top of Constantia Neck and back into Hout Bay. The last climb for the day is up Suikerbossie and an easy pedal to Camps Bay takes you to the end of this tour. Me and my family had a wonderful day with Jean-Luc, our guide. We drive along the beautiful coast, took many stops for photos and enjoyed the view. Our highlight was definitely the Constantina glen winery. Amazing food, good wine and the perfect end of our tour. Jean-Luc knew everything about the town and the local life and it was a big pleasure to spend the day with him. We really recommend this private tour!

Wonderful and picturesque experience on this private tour to the Cape with stops at various incredible viewpoints along the coast. Visited an Ostrich Farm, Penguin colony and Table Mountain before getting dropped off at our hotel. The guide, Alain was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
