First, make a quick stop in the heart of Cape Town city center to discover the colorful community known as Bo-kaap. Then, head straight for the coastline. Pass by affluent suburbs with some of the best beaches near the city, stopping for photos at Camps Bay. Proceed on towards Hout Bay seated in between gigantic mountains and the Atlantic.  Enjoy an optional scenic 40-minute round-trip boat ride to Seal Island. Resume your tour via the world-famous Chapman's Peak Drive. Marvel at this road engineering feat as you wind over the edge of the mountains; this scenic drive is not for the faint-hearted. Next, arrive at the Cape of Goodhope Nature Reserve just after midday. Discover the rich plant life of the Cape, early human history, maritime history and if you are lucky you might be able to have a mini safari.  Reach the southwesternmost point of the continent - the Cape of Good Hope - and take a photo with the sign. Hiking is recommended but no swimming because of sheer riptides. Carry on to Cape Point and walk for 20 minutes one way up to a historic lighthouse. You could also take a funicular at your own account if you are not in the mood for walking. Feel free to stop for lunch at the world-class seafood restaurant with a sea view or grab a quick bite in the food shop next door. Next, embark on a journey to Simon's Town for a special date with the endangered African penguins at Boulders Beach. Spend about 45 minutes at the penguin colony before you head back to Cape Town along the coastline. Pass through the quaint towns on this historically known Millionaire's Mile. Hear fun facts about the navy and Just Nuisance - the only dog in the world to have been an able seaman. Finally, discover Kalk Bay and Muizenberg Beach, the surfer's corner before returning to the starting point.

Next, is Cape Point you have the option of taking the Funicular ( own expense) or walk up to the Lighthouse while enjoying the Cape Floral Kingdom. After Cape Point head on to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and check out the playful African Penguin family. Relax back as you pass through Simon's Town, home to the South African Navy's Naval Base located on the shores of False Bay. You will pass by Kalk Bay and Muizenburg where surfers experience the thrill of riding waves. You will be dropped off at your accommodation or any location of your choice.

See the world-famous beauty of the Mother City as you drive through Cape Town and its surrounding area on this guided tour. From there, pass over the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the top ten scenic drives in the world. 6 miles in length and with about 114 curves, it's the perfect place to stop for photos of the surrounding area, with magnificent ocean views. From there, it's through the charming town of Noordhoek. Known for its excellent coffee, there are also souvenir shops, cafes, and a bakery for those with a sweet tooth.  Next, you’ll arrive at Boulder’s Beach, likely filled to the brim with its cute inhabitants – African Penguins!  Final stop will be at the Cape Point Lighthouse and The Cape of Good Hope.

Rockhopping with a marine biologist along the Peninsula is a full day immersive experience of sight seeing and exploring the coast from spotting large sea life like whale and dolphins in the distance to the small yet impressive marine life in the rocky pools. Based on the weather conditions and real time information of animal sightings we maximise the outdoor experience like no other conventional tourist experience by choosing the best spots for that particular day. The experience begins at a meeting spot at Chardonnay Deli, Constantia Cape Town. The route we take will depend on the weather conditions on the day. The stops include, Chapmans Peak, Cape Point, Boulders Beach and other spots in between if time allows. We will have a picnic lunch on the rocks on one of the secluded and sheltered beaches. This will also be your chance to take a dip in one of the tidal pool or sheltered bays if you so wish. All our tours are guided at a leisurely pace, offering a soft adventure nature experience. We have availability for up to 4 guests per experience. This small intimate group allows us to immerse ourselves in nature and fully absorb the surroundings. Activity only tour includes: Meet us at the start of the activity at the Cape Point Nature Reserve entrance at 09:00, we will make our way into the park, off load the bicycles and enjoy an approx. 2 to 3 hour cycle through the nature reserve enjoying the fantastic ocean views and stunning fynbos. We load the bicycles up and make our way to the Cape Point Funicular where you can explore the lighthouse. Age restrictions: Private Tour – 12 years and above Scheduled Tour – 16 years and above Cape Point is on the most South Westerly tip of Africa in the Cape Point National Park. A total must-visit! Cape Point as it's simply breath-taking, and the only attraction we offer with well-surfaced roads. This is excellent terrain to get you comfortable in the saddle on the e-bike. We start the tour at the Buffels Bay visitor centre where we set off to traverse the park on our E-bikes, taking in the famous diverse floral kingdom and wildlife including a variety of antelope, ostriches and baboons. And, don't forget about the ride along the coast's crashing surf, simply stunning. Ending up back at the Buffels Bay visitor centre we load up the bicycles and make our way to the lighthouse where we take a funicular ride to visit this historic powerful lighthouse on a peak that rises up 250 m at the tip of the Point. This overlooks one of the most treacherous coastlines for mariners. The lighthouse was built as the most powerful in Africa with its light visible for over 60 km. Here the tour ends and you can enjoy the rest of your day under your own arrangements.

Meander along Chapmans Peak, visit the penguins at Boulders Beach and cycle through the Cape of Good Hope Reserve to Cape Point. Start at Signal Hill for a bird's eye view of the Atlantic Seaboard. From here it's a descent into the turquoise blue beaches of Camps Bay along the route of the iconic Cape Town Cycle Race, voted one of the most beautiful bike rides in the world. See the beautiful Twelve Apostles Mountain Range on your left and the stunning Atlantic Ocean on your right. Pass through the historic Hout Bay Harbour. Pass through the spectacular Chapman's Peak mountain pass. Shuttle to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve which is a must-see on any visit to the Mother City. Enjoy a guided hike to the old lighthouse at Cape Point which stands head and shoulders above everything else in the reserve. Visit the African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach while eating a delightful lunch looking over the ocean in Simonstown. End the day with a drive back to downtown Cape Town, through the surfing town of Muizenberg, and the wine region of Constantia completing an active, educational and bucket-list-filled day.

We spend the day exploring the Peninsula making photo stops at every opportunity. Chapmans Peak was built between 1915 and 1922 with the use of convict labour. It offers a 180-degree panoramic view and is a sightseer’s dream. It leads into the small naval town of Simons Town that is home to the Boulders beach penguin colony. After a visit here we make our way to the Cape Point national park for a short walk to the most South Westerly point on the African continent. We make our way back to the city via Scarborough and Misty cliffs that acquired its name because of the constant mist that hangs over the small town for most of the year.
