Great life time experience. Picked up very early, to catch up with dawn experience in the sky. Please dont miss the preparation, and watch how they prepare it. Our license pilot Ibrahim is excellent. Thanks to him. We celebrated after the flight with champaign and certificate. Tips: dont rush to the basket. Get the corner edge to get better view.

Pre-Balloon was blah, but the balloon itself, fantastic.

Attentive service right from an initial email contact, through friendly staff and a talented and smiley pilot. They gave us an option of basket size (we chose 10 person), which was nice. It was filled though, with 10 people, despite what another reviewer here said about trying not to fill up your balloons. Also Discovery is operated by the same people that do Anatolian balloons. So I can't imagine there's much difference between these (or other) balloon companies. They picked us up pre-dawn, and brought us to a mess-hall with around 200 other people from Discovery and Anatolian, all standing in line to get a dry roll and a coffee. This "breakfast" might have been a nice surprise if they hadn't made a big deal about it in the advertising. As it was, I was disappointed. But then after that they called our names and brought us out in the small groups that went into each balloon, and from there on out it was a terrific experience.

We had really good weather and took amazing photos. A must if you go to Capadocia.
