  • Carolina: Hacienda Campo Rico Heritage Tour

    1. Carolina: Hacienda Campo Rico Heritage Tour

Begin your exciting tour at the mojito bar and coffee shop, where you can enjoy a refreshing piña colada or a local espresso coffee and the children are offered a traditional Puerto Rican ice cream. Sit through a brief introduction where you will be reminded of the safety instructions and get ready to explore. Make your way across the countryside, as you listen to stories about the historical traditions of Puerto Rico and its indigenous wildlife. During your visit you will have the opportunity to discover the historical plantation house, named 'Mi Casa' or 'My Home'. Stop midway through the ride and take the chance to meet some friendly, farm-raised animals. Relax in the sun as you feed the local pigs, goats, sheep, exotic birds, cattle, and horses. Continue your journey through the hacienda back to the mojito bar, where your expedition will end.

Had a lovely time. We ended up being the only ones on the tour, so we got to spend a little more time doing exactly what we wanted but our guide was very charming, funny, and just nice. Would absolutely recommend. The grounds and wild life should not be missed. :)

What people are saying about Carolina, Puerto Rico

100% recommend!! My partner and I wish we would have done 2 of these excursions during our trip!! Super professional and friendly/fun crew!! They really went above and beyond. Great food and drinks included as well… finding the exact location of the meetup spot was the only (minor) issue we had. For future guests: just ask any staff at the dock where East Island Excursions is located if you have trouble finding the spot. But they also offer a shuttle service from people’s hotels sooo that’s a huge plus. We’re definitely coming back.

Omg! This was a beautiful trip that everyone needs to go on. The crew treated us really well and kept us happy all trip. The island was amazing and clear. Snorkeling let me see fishes Ive never seen before. Make sure to book!
