Overall, it was a wonderful tour package. We had 11am admission tickets for the 911 Memorial and Museum. The experience is very heavy, first hand accounts from survivors and honors for those who were lost. We used the audio tour option on our smart phones and made our way around, it took just over an hour. From there we walked to Battery Park and met Vivian, our tour guide for the State of Liberty/Ellis Island tour. My only gripe was we were no able to go into the Statue of Liberty, apparently it requires another ticket but we were not aware of that and it was too late to purchase a ticket when we were on the island. Vivian was wonderful, very informative and friendly. I would recommend this tour to others.

Although we have visited NYC regularly over the past 20 years, we never considered joining lines of tourists to visit Ellis Island, especially in August. Civid changed the access of many activities in the city, as no international touriste are crowing the sites. We tremendously appreciated no lines, no crowds, plenty of space on the ferry and in the museum. Even the cafeteria was accessible, and clean. This is the opportunity that will not last. Plan a long visit, we spent two hours on Ellis Island and we will return. The exhibits are rich in a large variety of mementoes. Powerful and moving.

Isabelle was our tour guide. Our tour was scheduled on the day tropical storm Ida was coming through. The tour moved forward and we were so fortunate to not encounter any rain throughout our tour! Isabelle was full of energy and information! She loved sharing her knowledge of all parts of history and the area! She encourages promptness in a positive way! We loved our tour!!
