He used to be private chef service for celebrities and football players. He also lived in China and Singapore for over 12 years. While he worked overseas he always dedicated himself for promoting the Italian gastronomy and be proud of be a Sicilian chef . In this gastronomy trip you will learn how to cook the authentic Sicily cuisine from scratch. Meawhile we stop by the local cantine to choice the wine to pair with our meal or visit the local farmers to get the fresh made cheese. The menu will change according to the season but always content 3 courses and fine Sicilian wine. Departing from Catania, you will enjoy the journey in a vintage car; along the way you will be able to admire the characteristic villages along the way and enjoy the view of a unique landscape. Once you arrive at the presence of Mount Etna, specifically in Zafferana Etnea, you will find yourself immersed in the volcanic landscape of Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. You will stop at a farmhouse in Trecastagni where you will be greeted with a welcome toast. You will be able to visit the facility, the small millstone from the late 1800s and walk among the rows of vines. Once back at the facility, you will don your apron and begin your Sicilian cooking class. You will try your hand at preparing appetizers such as fried arancinetti, caponata and parmigiana; to simple but flavorful first courses such as pasta alla norma and pasta with sardines and wild fennel.
