    Explore Etna Park on a full-day tour that takes you up to the Sapienza Refuge and admire views from 1,986 meters. Learn how craters and lava tunnels are formed from your guide and try local products. At the Sapienza Refuge, see both the newest eruptions of the volcano and the old Silvestri craters, dating from the 1892 eruption. Enter a lava cave, with a helmet and head lamp, to learn how lava flows are formed.

    Later, stop in the town of Zafferana, on the eastern side of Etna. In Zafferana, known as the town of honey, visit a well-known farm and taste local products, such as honey, olive oil, and wine.

    Enzo was a great tour guide and kept me, my girlfriend and all the other travellers entertained with his story’s about Catania and the mountain. When we arrived at the the mountain we chose to take the cable car up too 3000ft where the views were amazing. When we got back to the van we went down to explore the caves which we found rather interesting. We then finally stopped off at a local shop which sold all kinds of products from honey to wine and we got to try them all! Finally it was time to head back and Enzo dropped us all off at our hotels. Thankyou for a lovely day!!

    The tour started in time, our group was taken to the hostel and then taken back. During our trip we learned many interesting things from our guide Aleksandro about Mount Etna, Sicily and traditions. Our guide took care of our safety, curiosity. The weather was kind to us - it was sunny with a little breeze.

    One of the most special experience of my life! The atmosphere of Etna is very mystic and special, the contrast colors; black, red and yellow were impressive to see! Our guide, Francesco was very nice and also an expert in history and geography. We had time to make pictures and we made a great food break in a good bar.
