Customer Service was excellent and saved me to have a :) Fabulous adventure and highlight of my Florence visit! To walk the steps of history of a grand cathedral with art and architecture is amazing then to arrive at the top of the dome to view a busy beautiful city holding on to the past and flowing onward in the present. The tour of the dome was excellent. The stairways and walkways were interesting in their own right, and then there are three viewing points - the lower gallery inside the dome, the external platform at the top of the dome, and the upper gallery inside the dome. The ticket collection point was next to the Ponte Vecchio, so quite a long way, but the agent was so helpful giving us the tickets and access to the audio guide on our smartphones. You have to stand in a long queue at the entrance for dome tour, but that is because they have to let a big group in at the same time, so that they can move us through the one way system. It works, and it works really well. We also enjoyed seeing the Baptistry (beautiful ceiling) and the Museum was excellent. In the end we didn't have time for the cathedral itself, nor the bell tower, but really, really enjoyed these tickets.

The lines were very long for those without a ticket, so you should really buy this if you do not want to wait for hours. The dome and entire complex is really wonderful, you should not miss it. Be sure to pick up your tickets with at least 30 minutes in advance, you have to download the guide and walk a little and also the entrances are not very easy to find.
