This activity is highly recommended. You get skip the line access to climb the Duomo, which was challenging but totally worth it! The different tiers allow you to see the cathedral from different levels and the view from the top is incredible. An added bonus is that you receive access to additional sites, and I suggest climbing to the top of the bell tower as well for a view of the cathedral from the outside. I suggest checking your meeting point to pick up your tickets which can be confusing, and to arrive early since it may not be close to the cathedral.

Having been extremely disappointed with no availability for my visit on the official site. I jumped at the chance using this company All went like clockwork. Bit more expensive than the official site but was worth it for availability alone. The visit was awesome…. If you are unfit please do not attempt this. It was extremely hot and humid. The views are spectacular but so is the art of the dome.

This is a once in a lifetime experience and you should not miss it! We throughly enjoyed our experience and the get your guide made it stress free. The meeting point was a little tricky to find because the office is tucked down a small alley off the road. The man that greeted us, Simone, was very kind and informative. He gave us great information about how our ticket would worked and where to line up for the different events. He also gave very good advice about the must sees of the Cathedral. Just a heads up, the staff at the Cathedral will not allow any “backpacks” inside, no matter the size. If you bring a bag, make sure it’s small and it only has one strap.
