Seek adventure on Mount Olympus on this guided canyoning trek. During this outing, you’ll depart from Dion with a small group of fellow travelers, which ensures personalized attention from your guide. Rappel, slide, jump, swim, and hike through the mythical landscape, stopping midway for an included snack. No climbing experience is necessary. We have our meeting from 12:30 to start our course. Once reaching our starting point the adventure begins. There we will prepare the necessary equipment and start with a 20 min hike along a beautiful forested trail. Our Canyoning courses: Beginners, Level 1, and Level 2. Guides will teach you the essential skills needed, abseil, canyon trekking, jumps, slides, anchoring, belaying, via ferrata, and skills on each level. You don’t need to have any prior climbing experience to take part. Once you’ve tried out these new techniques, you’ll get into a 2-hour descent for canyoning, actively. Beginners: We start with a 7m waterfall for abseiling with prior essential training and a long natural waterslide for jumps and slides. Our way down the canyon just started! Jumps and through the snake’s hall, a baby slide awaits! Some canyon trekking and a short technical abseil before our final adventurous exit with a big splash. Level 1: Get ready to become autonomous and learn how to prepare yourselves on the master point, belaying on short ropes. Use of our equipment to abseil longer waterfalls with more exposure. Level 2 (Intermediate): A Canyoning for those who really want to be part of the sport. Long abseils up to 22m, steep slides, and high jumps over 7m. Essential training on the way down when needed.

Embark on a 12-kilometer hike from Prionia through the gorge of Enipeas all the way to the village of Litochoro. Immerse in the mystical wonders of Mount Olympus with its entrancing waterfalls, dense nature and time-honored wooden bridges. Encounter the bathtub of Zeus, the Old Monastery of Agios Dionysios, and a hidden cave. Benefit from pickups from convenient meeting points in the Dion-Olympos area. Begin your tour at the parking lot of Prionia where your private minibus will drop you off. From there, enter the gorge of Enipeas and hike to the first point of interest, the bathtub of Zeus and its small waterfall. Continue your guided hike through the gorge of Enipeas, crossing over wooden bridges. Spot several small waterfalls on the way. Follow the trail all the way to the monastery of Agios Dionysios, the most important monastery in all of Pieria. Carry on your Enipeas tour with a visit to a set of twin waterfalls and a cave, found within the rock formations of Mount Olympus. Revel in the reward of phenomenal panoramic views, and see why Holy Trinity was given a starring role in the James Bond film, “For Your Eyes Only.” St. Stephen's is probably the most accessible monastery as it's situated on the plain, rather than perched on a vertiginous clifftop. Join the friendly cats who love to bask on the sun-drenched walls outside this little monastery. Admire the carved door furniture and the way the sun hits the stone and casts long shadows, and get a glimpse into monastic life through the little, open monk's cell at St. Nicholas. On the way out of the Grand Meteoron Monastery (the largest of the 6), don’t forget to follow a time-honored tradition by slipping a little note into the crack in the rocks. Finally, end your tour in Kalampaka for lunch, and relish finger-licking meals fresh from the farms around. The tour concludes with drop-off back at your accommodation in Thessaloniki.

At the summit at 9,600 ft (2918 m), enjoy exceptional views and sign the mountaineer’s book. After the descent, unwind as arranged transportation takes you back to town. We have our meeting from 08:00 to start our tour towards Mount Olympus. We will reach the maximum point of the route from the south side of Mount Olympus in charming other and simultaneously rugged landscape to 2,400m in position Christakis. There we will rest and prepare our personal and climbing equipment for the summit of Mytikas. We follow a well-marked trail for one hour to position Skala where we will get ready for our final ascent. The route is demanding and has a high degree of difficulty since in most parts we must climb. Reaching the top of ”Pantheon” Mytikas at 2918m we will sign the mountaineer’s book and will rest for our return.

On the morning of day 1, you will travel independently by train from Thessaloniki Train Station at 8:18 AM to Kalabaka. Along the way admire the beautiful Greek landscapes. Choose to travel with first or standard class train tickets and whether to stay in a 3-star or 4-star hotel. You will be picked up from Kalabaka train station at 11:30 AM and be transferred to your hotel. You will have time to have lunch and prepare yourself for the majestic Meteora Rocks sunset tour. You will be picked you up for the tour and returned to Kalabaka town for a short walk. On day 2, you will be picked up from your hotel and join a comprehensive Panoramic Meteora tour or a Meteora Hike. For the next four hours, experience the beauty of the unique phenomenon of Meteora and the holy monasteries on top of the rock giants. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel where you can get ready for your departure back to Thessaloniki. Your train departs at 5:15 PM and arrives back in Thessaloniki at approximately 8:30 PM. There is a change at Palaiofarsala Train Station with a waiting time of approximately 1 hour.

Start the tour at Central Railway station of Thessaloniki where the train departs at 8.00 AM. Pass by the foothills of the mythical Mt Olympus, which was the residence of 12 Olympian Gods. End at the Paleofarsalo train station where you will have to change train and wait 1 hour, until you board the train that leads to Kalampaka. Palaiofarsalos is near where the ancient Mirmidones tribe originated from, the legendary ancient warriors lead by Achileus who played an important role in the Trojan War.  Hop on another train to Kalambaka No 882 where you will be met by a guide to welcome you. Begin your breathtaking tour of Meteora rocks and marvel at the breathtaking geological formations at sunset. After this, you will be driven back to your hotel in Kalambaka for free time to explore the city and your overnight stay.  On the second day, choose between a midday tour or a hiking tour. After the tour, you will be driven back to Kalambaka where you will have free time to spend under the shadow of the giant rocks.
