The following places are visisted: - A cheese shop called "La Mexicana". Here you'll have the opportunity to taste 14 different cheese with two glasses of Queretaro wine. All this with the company of a sommelier who will be guiding you during the experience. - Freixenet vineyard. Here you'll learn about the elaboration process of the wine from the sowing to the final product. After that, you'll have the opportunity to taste the delicious sparkling wine and you'll receive the wine glass as a gift. - The magic town of San Sebastián de Bernal. Here you'll have some free time to enjoy the place. - The magic town of Tequisquiapan. Here you'll have some free time as well to enjoy the place. The van leaves at 9 o'clock in the morning from the Corregidora monument that you can find in the historical downtown of Queretaro and you arrive at the same place at 7 o'clock in the afternoon. Note: the guide can be bilingual but the tour in some of the places are in Spanish.

After pickup from your accommodation in San Miguel de Allende, leave the downtown area to visit the first vineyard. Explore the family-owned vineyard, and learn about its distinctive personality, decoration, and small production of different types of grapes. Next, head underground to the wine cellar where the wine is aged, and find out the winemaking process while enjoying the delicious smells of the wine. After visiting the cellar, savor some of the wines with a delicious food pairing in a medieval-style room, also underground. A visit to the second vineyard, which has a very different concept but also has a small and exclusive production, follows. See the labs and shops where wine, as well as olive and lavender oil, are processed at this vineyard. Take a walk around the beautiful gardens and plots before sampling the wines with an expert oenologist, who will explain the different properties of each wine and how to better appreciate them. Join a day trip from Mexico City that will introduce you to highlights of the Querétaro region. Depart from Mexico City and admire the landscapes of central Mexico on the way to your destination. Your first stop is Peña de Bernal. See the unique rock formations and take some pictures. Then, head to Freixenet Winery and take a tour of their facilities and their 25m deep wine cellar where you can learn about how wine is made. During the tour, you can taste three different types of wine and 5 mixed tapas. To end the afternoon, wander around the winery and enjoy free time on the property before you return to Mexico City.

Later we will go to the "la pasadita" establishment for a tasting of artisan bread, chocolate, beer, Atlixquense mezcal and a delicious artisan ice cream of your choice in the "Ximitl" ice cream shop where exotic flavors are found. 4. Former Franciscan convent. From there you can appreciate a good view of Atlixco and the city of Puebla. On a clear day, the volcanoes look majestic. 5. Visit Mega nurseries, where you can find a wide variety of flowers, plants and fruit trees. 6. Transfer to Chipilo, tour of a factory to learn about the cheese making process. 7. Savor quesadillas at an organic 'tortillería', made with native corn, where you can view the traditional nixtamalization process. Learn about different chili varieties at a chili stand and taste 100% raw cacao and hand-made artisanal chocolate from Oaxaca. Discover the flavor of exotic bugs including crickets, chicatana flying ant and chinicuil worm. Enjoy seasonal native fruits (mamey, chicozapote, tuna, etc.) and hand-crafted ice cream. Next, return to the cooking studio and enjoy a 4-course cooking class with selected traditional Mexican dishes that would allow the group to enjoy and discover Mexico’s gastronomy. For the First Course, learn how to prepare antojitos mexicanos with Mexican salsas, alongside street food appetizers (sopes) paired with 2 Mexican salsas (red molcajete sauce and green sauce). For the 2nd course, make Mextlapiques which have a prehispanic origin, consisting of a tamal without masa. Prepare a vegetable-only version covered with a hierbabuena sauce. After this, make white mole - a traditional dish of Mexico's central region that is eaten at celebrations and made with a mixture of light-colored ingredients including white pine nuts, almonds, peanuts, blonde raisins, and chile guero. White mole is served with chicken pieces, mushrooms or panela cheese. Follow this with pastel de elote, cornbread paired with water-based chocolate. Finally, enjoy the prepared dishes with a pairing of agua fresca, Mexican craft beer, Mezcal from Oaxaca and premium white or red wine from Valle de Parras.

At 07:00 hrs. pick up at Hotel Barceló Reforma, head to the Magical Town of Bernal in the State of Queretaro considered a town lost in time, it is considered magical because of the beauty of its buildings and bright colors, which houses legends and dreamy landscapes, the word Bernal comes from Arabic origin and means rock, precisely this town has the third largest monolith in the world, after the Rock of Gibraltar and the Sugar Loaf of Brazil, get to know El Castillo, ancient prison of viceregal style built in the 17th century and currently the home of the municipal palace and the Temple of San Sebastián Mártir built in the early 1700s. You will continue visiting Freixenet, an enigmatic place where you will descend to a depth of 25 meters and enjoy a tour of its wine cellars, where you will learn about the process of making sparkling and calm wines. At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a wine tasting in a glass. Afterwards you will visit the magical town of Tequisquiapan, one of the most famous tourist destinations in the area. Its beautiful color and picturesque detail promises to amaze every visitor! Then head back to Mexico City where you will arrive around 21:00 hrs.
