Full description
After being collected from your accommodation at 8:00AM, you will depart for the Cham Islands (locally known as Cu Lao Cham), which feature some of the most beautiful seascapes and landscapes in the area. This island complex has only 3,000 inhabitants and most of them make a living from fishing. You can take a trip of only 25 minutes by speedboat from Hoi An Town (Cua Dai Quay) for this amazing beach and nature excursion. Snorkel or dive to experience the beautiful coral reefs, enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on the island or walk along the eco-tour trail. The island is rich in aquatic resources, with 165 hectares of coral and 500 hectares of seaweed. The waters around Cu Lao Cham are home to 135 species of coral, 4 species of tiger shrimp and 84 species of mollusk, many of which are listed in the World’s Red Book of endangered species. There are many other interesting attractions for visitors, including fresh seafood, traditional crafts, swimming and sightseeing. Recently, important archaeological remains were found and these are now exhibited in a small museum near the main jetty.   The cluster of islands that make up Cham island are also a Marine Protected Area (MPA) due to numerous important marine inhabitants, particularly beaches and coral reefs, and rich biodiversity. The Marine Protected Area includes eight islands; the largest island being Hon Lao, featuring magnificent beaches and forests. You can also experience the township of Bai Lang, a small harbor, a Traditional Fishing Village (Bai Lang), temples, shrines and a pagoda. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be returned to your accommodation at 3:00PM.

Good option to know the islands if you have little time. The excursion consists of 3 parts: visit to the town, snorkeling and lunch + free time on a beach. The part we liked least was snorkeling: only 45 minutes are dedicated and the space in which it is done is very small and is full of excursion boats. The last part was the best, with lunch almost at the edge of the sea and free time on a beach with crystal clear waters with hardly any people.

We were quite disappointed with this tour. When we first looked online it didn’t say big group tour, we have done many tours while travelling in Vietnam and the most our group has been was 9. Our bus collected us 45 minutes late, there was no tour guide on the bus and the driver was clearly quite angry. We then met up with a big group and were moved onto a small boat with everyone, when we got to the first island we weren't told what was happening, what we were doing there or whether to take our belongings. There was no interaction with a tour guide throughout the trip. The communication throughout was lacking. Our ‘relax on the beach’ was 20 minutes before we headed to the fishing village. The village tour consisted of us following the guide, but no communication or interaction with us again. I came away knowing very little about the village and feel quite disappointed by the whole trip. The best part was the snorkelling but even that was lacking due to the very old kit

The snorkelling and beach part was fine - the rest was not great. We were picked up almost 30 min late, and even though it’s in the description to visit a fisher village I just don’t think that’s necessary if it’s a trip for water acivitities. It was just too hot to walk around in the heat for an hour! The snorkelling equipment was pretty run down as well as the tiny boat and the location super crowded with the other guests screaming and shouting - how can you be so loud on such a serene place?? Then we had lunch at the beach which was average (French fries and fried squid) and could only stay there until 1,30 pm because then we had to leave? So efficiently doing water activities was less than 2 hours. Wouldn’t book again
