To be honest, this beach is overrated. The transport was ok, the guide either. Overwhelming views during the way were worth going. I didn't like the restaurant we stopped for the lunch- guide recommended this restaurant as delicious local cuisine, in fact it was the worst diner we ate at Kriti.

The beach was gorgerous. On the way we stopped at a family owned honey business before heading off to the beach. Definitely go earlr! on the way back the food at the restaurant was amazing. Few sunbeds but it wasnt a really necessary unkess you want to soend time tanning. We went mostly snorkelling watching fishes in the ocean behind the mountains. The water is super clearn and a had a stripe of pink sand! Theres enough cafe, toilets etc.

Great trip. We met around 7/7:30 and set off to the location. We stopped at one place for a bathroom break at a honey place that did snacks/ice cream/drinks/pastry etc which was welcomed. Got to the beach around 10:30 (perfect time in our opinion as it wasn’t too busy - we could pitch up a spot happily). We stayed for 4 hours from drop off to set off, plenty of ice cream/drinks shops on the beach. 4 hours was perfect, could’ve stretched to 5 but was very hot. Sunbeds available to hire when we got there but quickly filled. Some people were late on the coach (not guides fault) and as you can imagine a minibus full of hot people in 35 celc. We were sweltering! Not the guides fault again just prepare to sweat when you get back in until the air con kicks in properly. Stopped at a nice place for lunch, food for everyone (even the picky eaters like me!) drive was fine (aside from small air con issue at beach) I fell asleep! our guide gave us some history/facts but not too much - very chilled!
