Highlights
  • Discover the Château, the Great Stables, and the gardens
  • Escape the noise and chaos of the city for the day
  • See the Condé Museum and unspoilt treasures of a 19th century prince
Full description
Visit the entire Domaine de Chantilly at your leisure, 7,800 hectares located in one of the largest forests in Paris.  Explore the Château, which houses the Condé Museum. This is made up of the princely suites, an exceptional collection of paintings (over 800 masterpieces by artists such as Botticelli, Raphael, Poussin, and Delacroix), and a library and archives conserving over 13,000 works.  Visit the gardens for a magnificent panorama of the art of the Western garden, with the French-style garden designed by Le Nôtre in the 17th century, the 18th-century Anglo-Chinese garden housing the Hamlet that served as a model for Marie-Antoinette's Hamlet in the Petit Trianon in Versailles, and the 19th century English garden. Discover the Great Stables, which are a masterpiece of 18th-century architecture. They house the Museum of the Horse, which is home to over 200 objects and works of art dedicated to the equine world. All year long, the Great Stables propose magical equestrian shows.

Beautiful grounds and castle. We spent about 1.5 hours in the castle itself then 2-3 hours in the gardens, which are lovely just to wander round. The stables are included and you can meet the horses. I can recommend the restaurant in the Hameau. You go straight to the entrance to scan your voucher; no need to exchange anything in the ticket office. Great day out!

It went very smoothly without any issues.... Buying ahead puts some pressure on to be in a place by a certain time, however it is better than waiting in a long line. It really depends how you like to see places but booking ahead if you are organized vs. spontaneous is the way to go. Knowing how you travel best is critical.

What a fantastic experience! We saw the castle and all the art galleries inside, the gardens, and all the domain with the ticket. It included everything. The structure of the court is impressive, and the view is magnificent. We saw all the rooms, and then we had a great lunch near the hammock where you could enjoy a great lunch outside. I recommend the strawberry tart with the whipped cream, which the legend says was invented in this region. Overall we had a great day. We visited the gardens afterward, which are unique. Near the hammock, there were sheep, horses, and a playground for kids near a lake. The view is fantastic! Great experience
