There are tour guides, there are great tour guides, and then there’s Marco and Refaeli whom I believe represent the superlative in what the Rome tourism industry has to offer. Our driver (Marco) knew everything there was to know about the Italian countryside on the way to our destinations and filled us in with Italian history, legends, and everything in between. Our tour guide at Pompeii (Refaeli) was a wonderfully energetic and knowledgeable historian who strolled through the ruins akin to that of a child on Christmas. My wife and I learned so much on this trip and it will certainly be one of our highlights during our vacation in Italy.

Pompeii and Naples full day

We had a very lovely time in Naples and Pompeii, our guide Chiara was very nice and she was very knowledgeable, you could see that she has studied Archaeology and that she likes it. She managed to make sure we didn't have to queue for tickets and she showed us the most important things of both sites. Our driver Antonio was very good too, with him we weren't scared of driving in Italy! Pompeii was bigger than what we expected so put some comfortable shoes! Thank you Chiara and Antonio for a lovely day!

Roberta (our guide) and Gianni (our driver) were excellent. They both were so knowledgeable about Naples and Pompeii. I would definitely recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the experience; avoiding the crowds, personalized service, knowledgeable guide, and great driver. Absolutely recommend this experience!
