So darn fun! My entire family loved it! Nick, our guide was simply terrific. (don’t tell him we said this… wouldn’t wanna embarrass him !) Even on the freezing cold morning, one of the best ways to wake up and kick off the day. Highly, highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the Underground Doughnut Tour! Our tour guide, Nick, was informative, and I learned new facts about the city even after living here for a year. I got to try donuts I never would’ve ordered (although I do wish there were more chocolate donuts in the assortment we got from each shop), and enjoyed several of them. I’ll be back to each of these donut shops!

I scheduled our tour for my last day in Chicago. (Big Mistake!) We enjoyed the doughnuts. (Or shall I say part of a doughnut. It was explained that we weren’t getting a whole doughnut due to previous experiences & patrons becoming too full to try more doughnuts). Unfortunately we were unable to take any home with us due to traveling by train. We had & enjoyed the small size of our small group. We were able to get to know about their experiences during other doughnut tours. Our tour guide was great! He took time to explain the different places we went to & their histories. He also explained we were given the selections we tried. I will say that our last stop was rather weird. We didn’t actually go sit down for doughnuts; but actually stood kitty corner from the location while waiting for our doughnuts to be cut up & delivered to us.
