Overall, it was an enjoyable & educational experience whether as a tourist or a Philadelphia resident. As a Philadelphia resident, and also the reason why I didn't rate "excellent", I was discouraged by negative/insensitive comments made by the tourgide (only able to be identified by his birthdate 9/11, recently turning 59) referencing "Indians", Philadelphia neighborhoods Port Richmond/Kensington and Camden NJ as being places you shouldn't go into, and over emphasizing/encouraging everyone to leave a tip when exiting-to be shared by himself & the driver, and how tips represents 50% of their salaries. Additionally, the tour routes should be maintained routinely by pruning all "low-hanging" tree branches. BEWARE OF DOUBLE-DECKER SEATS ON RIGHT SIDE OF BUSES!!!

Admire Independence Hall en route to Society Hill, where you can marvel at the stately homes while catching the aroma of fresh coffee at quaint cafés. Pass over Avenue of the Arts to Rittenhouse Square, before winding through the Fitler Square neighborhood to Schuylkill River. The scenery changes here, as you work your way along the paths of the Schuylkill Banks, ...
Was so FUN! Mike was a great guide. I felt safe even in the Philly traffic because of Mike’s knowledge of the route and traffic system. My 18 ur son thought two hours was longer than he would have liked but I disagree. He wants to do the 1 hour Segway someday soon though.

What people are saying about Chinatown, Philadelphia
Easy to use. We hopped off at the Barnes and then back on again later and went to Penitentiary. Big problem there had to wait over half hour in the awful heat. But the driver and the tour guide were very nice . Explained a lot about the city as I am from here and didn’t know some of the things he informed us about so happy about all that
Loved this tour! This is the best way to discover so much of Philadelphia. The tour guide (Jim) was so great and I am glad we took his advice to do the entire tour before deciding which stops to make. The flexibility of the schedule and stops were perfect! Great way to get around town. Note - Mario was helpful, too. Thank you all!
I cant say enough good about the hop on hop off tour! The bus went to nearly everything I wanted to see on my visit to Philly and instead of focusing on traffic and the travel between sights I was entertained entertained informed by amazing tour guides kn the bus!
