El Escorial is a must see place. The arrangements were very good but the guide was in a mighty rush and was walking well ahead of the group, mostly talking to herself. A little more patience on her part would have left a much better impression on all in the group.

Sol, the tour guide was in my opinion quite disorganized and was unable to sustain the attention and interests of the group. With limited time, she could have managed the tour better. At times we would be walking for long periods of time in extreme cold weather. We had to switch buses. She was knowledgeable but lacked people skills. I would prefer someone far pleasant and interesting. We were not able to visit the inside of churches except maybe for one so my goal to compare churches was not fulfilled.

After the guided tour, spend a little free time enjoying the beautiful sights created by the hanging houses before returning to the bus. I was extremely pleased to have such an excellent tour through the most important sites through this culturally rich city. Being able to cut through lines and have someone explain the details and information rather than listen to audioguides and text made it so much more pleasant.

Online registration with confirmation and voucher worked perfectly. At the meeting point, no bus with number 74 could be found 20 minutes before departure, as announced. No other sign or sign on the blocked actual bus. So wandered around soaked in sweat ... Then back again and asked all the buses. Ultimately found The tour guide did an excellent job. Toledo and the timing were perfect. The half-day tour was just right for us.
She handled a difficult logistical situation extremely well and was deeply knowledgeable and very informative.
