Rome: James Bond Spectre Tour by Minivan

7. Rome: James Bond Spectre Tour by Minivan

In “Spectre,” James Bond drives his Aston Martin at a terrifying speed through the narrow, ancient streets of Rome. He’s being hunted down by SPECTRE, the sinister criminal organization, and its mysterious member Franz Oberhauser (played by Christoph Waltz). The Eternal City is the setting for about 20 film scenes. Step onto the open-air set and relive many of these key moments. Take on the role of “Bond... James Bond” or femme fatale Lucia Sciarra and follow in their footsteps.   Your guides would love to put you behind the wheel of an Aston Martin but that’s a little out of the budget. Instead, you’ll slide into a discreet, luxurious and comfortable alternative: a sleek black minivan. And since no one besides Bond should tackle Roman traffic, you’ll have a driver. This will allow you to soak up all the 007 sites and fully enjoy the tour. You will be taken behind the scenes, revealing how the real Rome can differ from the movie-magic version. During this evening tour, experience the energy, excitement and spectacular beauty of the Italian capital after dark. And maybe even a Bond-worthy adrenaline rush. You will be 007 or a Bond girl until the bitter end. To conclude, you’ll toast the evening adventures with a "shaken not stirred” martini, a genuine Italian cocktail. This “Spectre” tour led by a stellar guide has all the elements of the luxurious world of James Bond.

Our family of 5 with children ages 15, 12 and 10 really enjoyed the golf cart tour around the city. Eugene did a great job interacting with the kids and asking them questions. He also tailored the tour to our interests. My wife and I have toured the city in one day on a previous tour; I can say the golf cart is an ideal way to see the city allowing flexibility to go anywhere. One of my favorites of the 3.5 hours was visiting a park above the city with a view of all of Rome.

We would like to thank Ewald from the bottom of our hearts, who made the tour unforgettable for us! We had a lot of fun together, were in corners of Rome that we would otherwise never have discovered and the time flew by. At the end we were given a city map on which the route of the tour was drawn again - a great reminder of the beautiful evening and at the same time practical for the rest of the vacation days. Thank you, Ewald and greetings from Berlin / Rostock :)

Top service from AZ from our guide Roberto. Start with a question about individual wishes. Exciting background information given in perfect German. A great start to Rome and the golf cart was a hit!

Great tour! Our tour guide Francesca was amazing and knowledgeable about the history of the colosseum and forum. Would definitely recommend a small private tour.
