    Full description

    Depart Colmar and journey in a small group to the traditional small town of Eguisheim. Surrounded by vineyards, the narrow and concentric streets highlight the architectural merits of its half-timbered houses, lovingly decorated with flowers.

    After a walk in the village, continue your tour to the fortified town of Riquewihr, passing by the village of Turckheim, where you can admire many traditional Alsace style houses, overflowing with flowers.

    In Riquewihr, stroll through the tiny streets lined with old houses that have preserved their 16th-century splendor. Get some free time to explore on your own and find a nice spot for lunch. Then, travel along the breathtaking Alsace wine route between the Rhine Valley and Vosges Mountains. Get amazing views of the undulating, vine-covered hills and quaint villages with narrow streets and flower-decked houses. Arrive at the medieval Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg overlooking the valley. Learn how the castle once controlled the wine and wheat routes to the north and salt route from the east.

    Myriam was an excellent driver and guide for our full day tour. It was fun with other guests coming from Boston, Uruguay, etc. We exchanged travel tips and ideas in between the excellent sights. We also enjoyed the wine tasting with another tour group after lunch. We had much more wines than due to the arrangement with the wine tour group. It was enjoyable conversation as a big group of 11.

    Wow! Great tour and our guide Miriyam was well informed and had a microphone connected to blue tooth so everyone could here in the van. She explained the entire history of the Alsace region and took us to beautiful villages that made me feel I was a character in a real life fairy tale! We were able to break for lunch on our own before our wine tasting. The castle tour was incredible as well. What a day!!!

    loved it. We visited more villages than was planned . We were courious to visit the village when Anthony Boudain passed and Jean took us there. In addition we saw many more villages from the van without stopping but the effort still count. All together we stopped at 4 villages. Our guide was really wonderful, thoughtfull and full of information :)))
