We opted for the long tour with a visit to an open marble quarry and an underground quarry (transport via jeep 4x4 - 8 people per jeep). After a serious climb uphill we first arrived in the open quarry. The sight of the marble quarry is overwhelming. We received expert and extensive explanations in English from an experienced guide (also our driver). Then we drove to the underground quarry where workers were still at work. Impressive ! For this visit we were given safety clothing (helmet - fluorescent vest). The visit to the quarries took more than 2 hours in total and is well worth the time and money. It was an unforgettable experience. For your information: just before the meeting point (red house) there is a souvenir shop, where you can buy marble objects at a reasonable price (without obligation). You can also have a drink there. You can park in front of this store.

Great time with professional and attentive guides. We were late and Gabriel did what was necessary to allow us to join the group and enjoy this visit. The careers are impressive, the comments informative (and in very good French) and the 4 * 4 ride rich in thrills. We recommend !

We learned a lot about marvelous marble. The tour guide did an excellent job (and was a good driver as well). We enjoyed it very much in a small group and, as an add on, received breathtaking views from the mountains over the pits and the lake.

Very interesting and worth seeing. And the English/Italian Guide was great! But since my English is not so good, I would have preferred the tour in German.

nice tour well detailed and very comprehensive explanation ... thanks to our guide Lorenzo
