7. Lund & Malmö: Guided Tour of 2 Countries in One Day

Start your day of adventure in front of the Grand Hotel, here you will meet your friendly and informative guide. After a short meet and greet you will hop aboard your comfortable vehicle and set off on your adventure.  Commence your tour with a visit to Hamlet's Castle, one of the most famous tourist landmarks in this area. Shortly after this take a scenic drive down the coastal road of Strandvejen and arrive in the charming old town of Helsingør, known as Elsinor in English. Whilst in Elsinor you will be given time to peruse the fascinating streets of this beautiful city before boarding a boat to head to Sweden.  Aboard your boat, you will sail across the Øresund, travelling to the shores of Sweden. Once you arrive in Sweden you will drive down the picturesque country roads to the ancient city of Lund. Here you can visit the Lund Cathedral, a church built in 1145. Behind the Cathedral there is the chance to explore the tiny streets, with houses that date back to the 1700s! Follow this with a trip to Malmö, Sweden's third largest city. Here you will have some time to do some shopping and take advantage of Sweden's lower purchase taxes, making this a great place to get some fantastic low prices on goods to take home with you. End your tour back in Copenhagen, en-route you will pass the impressive Øresund Bridge - taking in the beautiful views whilst you do.

Throughout the tour, your guide will tell you all the history of the places we see, along with a lot of fun stories surrounding them and Danish culture in general. Once the tour is over, your guide will be happy to give you recommendations on where to go next or perhaps revisit sights that you saw along the tour.

Copenhagen: Roskilde, Frederiksborg & Kronborg Day Tour

9. Copenhagen: Roskilde, Frederiksborg & Kronborg Day Tour

Enjoy a scenic sightseeing tour of North Sealand on an 8.5-hour excursion from Copenhagen, and visit the royal monuments of Kronborg Castle and Frederiksborg Castle and the World Heritage site of Roskilde Cathedral. Ideal for those who want to explore further than the city center to see as much as possible of historic Denmark, but are short of time, you will travel in a small group for a more personalized experience. The tour includes time to explore the imposing exteriors and interiors of Frederiksborg and Kronborg castles, the latter set on the banks of the Sund between Denmark and Sweden, and most notable as the site of Elsinore in Shakespeare’s “Hamlet.” Soak up the romantic setting of Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød, surrounded by a beautiful lake and gardens. The guide will take you to Roskilde to visit Roskilde Cathedral, the burial site of 39 Danish kings and queens, including Ingrid of Sweden, spouse of Denmark’s Frederick IX, father of the current Queen Margrethe II. The last stop on your tour will be the Viking Ship Museum to see rebuilt models and excavated ships from the days when the Vikings rampaged their way - and conquered - much of Western Europe and the North Atlantic. Please note, that between November and March and most of April, the tour does not include a visit to the Cathedral's interior but rather a walk around the impressive structure and an introduction to the Cathedral's place in history.

Copenhagen: 1 or 2-Hour Segway Tour

10. Copenhagen: 1 or 2-Hour Segway Tour

The guided Segway tour gives you the opportunity to explore Copenhagen in a fun and unique way in just 1 or 2 hours. As the only officially authorized Segway tour provider in Denmark, you will benefit from touring on the newest Segway machines with experienced guides, ready to give you first class customer service — as a bonus, you will help keep Copenhagen green & clean as Segways are zero-emissions. Arrive 15 minutes prior to start for check-in and training where you will receive your helmet, sign our waiver, get your radio, and meet your guide. You will then be individually trained in driving a Segway on a spacious and quiet training ground until you're comfortable taking to the streets. Don't worry if you haven't tried it before — it is super easy and most people learn it within minutes. The Segway is an incredibly intuitive machine. Some great routes are planned for you on both the 1 and 2-hour tour. All tours begin along the water for a nice stretch in a no-car zone. This is a great way to take off and still see iconic sights such as The Little Mermaid, which is one of the first photo stops. In fact, you will see famous must-see sights on both these tours including Nyhavn, The Royal Opera House, Amalienborg Palace, The Marble Church, Kastellet (The Citadel), as well as some hidden gems. The 1-hour tour covers over 10 of the major monuments and is a fast and fun way to see the city center from Langelinie Kaj all the way to Nyhavn. The 2-hour tour also ventures into the inner city and you'll cruise by The Black Diamond, The Royal Library Garden, Christiansborg Palace, City Hall Square, Tivoli Gardens, the cozy Latin Quarter, and Kongens Nytorv. You'll also take a small break halfway through at the cafe in the Royal Danish Theatre, where there will be some special offers exclusively for you if you wish (no purchase required). A Segway tour is a really great way to get acquainted with Copenhagen, plus you'll get up close to sights where cars are not allowed, and you can cover much more ground faster than you could on foot. You will truly feel the rich history of Copenhagen. And don't worry, the stories are light and fresh but still with substance. Just imagine cruising right up on the square at Amalienborg Palace and waving to the Queen, if she's home. Or driving right through Kastellet (The Citadel) — a still-functioning military site from the 1600s.  After your tour, you will receive a fun Segway Souvenir and you are very welcome to join your guide for a complimentary organic refreshment, and stay to enjoy the waterfront view. All tours include photo stops and only consist of small groups for your comfort and safety. Hope you are now ready to Segway cruise Copenhagen.

This was one of the best tour we took. Our guide and driver were so very helpful, courteous and took enough time to explain , provide directions at each spot - would highly recommend this tour

Great trip. Really got to see a lot, and enjoy a ton of different sites. The only thing is I would recommend the host chime in more with extra commentary outside of the audio
