From Corralejo: Lobos Island Entrance and Snorkel Activity

1. From Corralejo: Lobos Island Entrance and Snorkel Activity

Take a trip on a glass bottom boat and admire the beauty of the island’s tranquil waters and underwater life. Board your tour vessel at the harbour of Lobos Island and join your friendly guides on a trip to the sea beds of this little dream spot in the north of Fuerteventura. Start your adventure with a short boat trip (10-minutes) along the south coast of Isla de Lobos, and then, stop to take a relaxing bath for around 25-minutes. During your dip in the luxurious waters, you can feed the fish, swim and/or go snorkelling. Your tour ticket also allows you entrance to the island, letting you explore the small paradise freely. With this trip you will be able to enjoy the sea’s thousand different blue tones, from a clear green turquoise to a more intense blue color that surrounds the protected national park. Under these amazing waters and dancing around your feet, you will get to observe hundreds of fishes and other species of these waters thanks to the underwater view provided by your Glass Bottom Boat. The trip around the southern part of the island, from where you can see the soft orology of Fuerteventura, leads you to the “El Puertito” (little harbour) through the “El Río” (the river) – this name has been given by the locals to the sea arm that separates Fuerteventura from Lobos.

What people are saying about Corralejo Natural Park

We were picked up at our hotel at about 8.30am and were taken to the port. We then boarded the boat and sailed around for 2-3 hours. We saw a hammerhead shark and flying fish straight away and then didn't see anything for an hour or two. The guides were brilliant and frequently phoned other boats to see if anyone had seen any dolphins. After one phone call, we sailed to an area where dolphins had been and saw so many dolphins, which came right up to the boat. They were pilot whale dolphins. Photos were taken on the journey and throughout the day. We then sailed to the cove of Lobos and stopped to do snorkelling, paddle boarding, and canoeing. Photos were taken throughout this (high-quality photos that are free to download after the excursion), including underwater photos with the fish. Lunch of a seafood paella was provided. I am vegetarian so stayed in the water while everyone ate. There were about 12 of us on the tour. Brilliant experience.

Amazing! We really enjoyed it, the staff was very nice and the island is just lovely! Best beach around. The snorkelling was very nice too, just the right amount of time and they let You decide when you want to come back if at 2:30 or 5 pm which is great.

Brilliant, 10 minutes by boat followed by about thirty minutes of snorkeling with goggles. They throw bread in the water which is necessary to come the fishes

A great way to spend the afternoon. Fun and organized well. Be sure to bring snacks and water for spending time on Lobos- it's well worth the time!

We loved the trip to Lobos and overall had a lovely day. The snorkeling was good fun!
