Fuerteventura: Panoramic Tour

1. Fuerteventura: Panoramic Tour

Discover the Island of Fuerteventura on a day tour. Learn about the area's distinct culture, walk along a dune path, and visit the Natural Park of Betancuria. Begin your day with a pickup at your hotel in Corralejo, Lajares, Villaverde, or Cotillo, and hear a short briefing about the day's itinerary from your driver. From Corralejo, drive to the Sand Dunes Natural Park and admire the dunes that slide into the ocean. Take time to explore before a scenic ride along the eastern coast of Fuerteventura, passing through Puerto del Rosario, quaint villages, ancient volcanoes, lava flows, and desert landscapes.  Stroll along the white shores of Sotavento beach, in the southeast of the island. Admire the beautiful lagoons and capture the best panoramic shots on the road across the central mountains to Pájara, a quaint rural town. Stop for lunch in Ajuy, a picturesque fishing village, and try the local seafood. Visit the black sand beach or explore the exciting caves only a 30-minute walk away. Cross the Natural Park of Betancuria, the oldest part of the island, which offers broad views over the Canyon of La Peñita. Follow the winding streets of Betancuria, the first Castilian settlement in the Canary Islands and the ancient capital of Fuerteventura. Keep an eye out for the island's native birds, such as falcons, eagles, hawks, and vultures.  Finally, witness stunning views of the Tindaya mountain (also known as the "Sacred Mountain").

What people are saying about Costa Calma

Beppe showed us the entire island during a single day and provided a lot of interesting information about it. He made an additional short stop next to a windmill, what wasn’t a part of the official itinerary, because we asked him for that. The only two small things that could have been better: the air conditioning in his van was only partially functioning and he was using Italian a bit more frequently than English on a bilingual tour. Everything else was really, really good and well organised.

Discovering Fuerteventura! Beppe, our guide, very good and prepared. A trip to do absolutely, not only to discover places and landscapes of Fuerteventura but also for the useful information and curiosities that the (Italian) guide, an inhabitant of the island, provided us. Super recommended

Paul is a very humorous, passionate and knowledgeable guide and we managed to cover the major sights of Fuerteventura at a good pace and itinerary plan. The tour was a small group of 8, which felt very cost. Highly recommend Paul for future trips!

Really great tour. It allowed me to see many landscapes, many cities and some characteristic places of Fuerteventura. The guide Maura was amazing leaving us free space for photos, walking and explaining a lot of things to us.

Very fun excursion where we got to see the beautiful views of Fuerteventura! Maura a very good guide, very precise, patient and nice! Experience suitable for everyone that I recommend!
