Full description
The dusty streets of Andalusia are filled with culture, history, and the smell of Southern Spain. Today, you can discover the wonder and mystery of Seville on a full day tour bringing you into the heart of this panoramic city. Your guide greets you and takes you right into the heart of the historic center, where you first visit the Cathedral of Seville. This is the biggest Gothic Cathedral in the world, and you will be amazed by its ornamentation and grandeur. Begun in 1401, it wasn't completed until 1506! Next, it's time to visit the Giralda, one of the three remaining Almohad minarets that stand in these parts. Mixed with all this history, the Jewish Quarter of Santra Cruz also sits nearby, and you'll enjoy the narrow streets and quaint courtyards. Stop to smell the flowers here (literally), which blossom seemingly out of every corner and windowsill you pass. During your day, you'll also have a chance to stop by Paseo de Colón, Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza Theater and Torre del Oro, panoramic River Guadalquivir, Plaza de América, Avenida de las Palmeras, Maria Luisa Park, Plaza of Spain.

Seville, particularly the old town, is a beautiful city and worth a visit. The visit was enjoyable though a bit rushed; we travelled from Marbella (with numerous pick ups on the way), so about 2/3 of the day was spent driving and 1/3 in the city. La Plaza de España is lovely; wish we'd had more time there. Old town is full of tourists, so you bump shoulders a bit while navigating around.

Very beautifull city (and 30° mid April...)

The journey by bus is long (> 3 hrs each way), but definitely worth. Excellent local guide in Sevilla (cathedral visit) fluent in 4 languages. Local guide on the bus was good, but couldn't share a lot of content during the ride, because of explanation to be done in 4 languages (our perception).

Excellent day, an overview of the important landmarks of the city

The tour is a whistle stop of most of the landmarks in Saville. Our tour guide Paco with a dry sense of humour made the 2 hour journey a little entertaining. The tour focused on the cathedral which was magnificent. Generally a good day & the weather was kind, the rain ceased to allow us to walk about comfortably.
