Full description
Glide through the saltwater marshes and shallow waters of the Homosassa River and Gulf of Mexico aboard a powerful airboat. Look for bottlenose dolphins and other wildlife in their natural habitat to reconnect with nature. Feel the speed beneath you as you twist and turn through the mangroves, canals, and backwaters. Access areas that other boats can't reach and encounter abundant wildlife off the beaten path. Marvel as your US Coast Guard Captain and guide safely pilots the boat at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. Get an adrenaline rush as you traverse the waterways and soak up the natural beauty on all sides. Every day is different when it comes to the wildlife, but a morning ride is highly recommended if you hope to encounter animals in the wild. The diverse birdlife will truly amaze you, while West Indian manatees can sometimes be seen on a good day.

Captain Harvey was filling in for Captain Brian yesterday. Harvey was FANTASTIC! It wasn't just a boat ride as he was very verse in the area history as well as knowing all the birds names. We did not see any manatees but ran with a very playful bottle nose dolphin. Young and old alike...we are all fans!!!

Beautiful trip led by Irish Dave

The trip in the authors was a blast buyout captain, Irish Dave made it that way. Very personable, knowledgeable and kept our attention with interesting facts without ruining the quiet beauty of the experience. I would definitely request him if we took the airboat again or if we snorkeled with manatees. The 1.5 hours went too fast

Capt. Irish Dave was a great host, provided great commentary and made our first air boat ride a fun adventure.
