This is a must for everyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City. Not every attraction needs a tour guide, but the tunnels are one of the things that it's 100 times better with a tour guide. Our guide Phu was super knowledgeable, and engaging, and he was crucial in making this attraction an incredible experience. The second half of the trip, the Mekong river, was more 'normal'. It was still a nice ride and a lovely evening eating great fruits and coconuts, but if you only have half a day, go for the tunnels.

This is a great way to tick off two different places off in the one day. The minivan is super plush and comfortable, and so although you spend several hours in transit, it is comfortable. The tunnels are amazing and I learnt so much from our guide, Vu. Lunch featured a range of dishes but then you end up also snacking throughout the afternoon while on Unicorn Island in the Mekong. I really enjoyed the boat ride down the canals.

Excellent vehicle, guide, food, service and value for money made this a wonderful experience for all. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Really enjoyable day out. Viet, our tour guide was chatty and knowledgeable. Very comfy transport to the tunnels and river too.

Great guide NI (hope it is correct name). We enjoyed that very much!
